Pastel lover [outfit post]

I went to get a fresh haircut and colour today so... voilá! It's nothing major, just the cut is a bit more asymmetrical than it had been and the colour is kind of grey-meets-gold-meets-brown shade of blonde. My hair is always hard to explain. :D
I also met my friend and ex-class mate, had a big caramel latte with lots of brown sugar, was bitched at by a woman who got angry because I was walking up an escalator (like all normal rushing people do) and came home soaking wet because of a rainstorm (which of course stopped right at the moment when I got into my train). Overall a nice day. (No, I'm not ironic. Not even when I say I'm not.)
Oh and I got a lovely gift - a black dementor-like vest I'd wanted for quite some time. Thank you! And also a new issue of Czech Elle came to my mail today with a pair of black Ray-Bans as a gift. Well I'm pretty much convinced that 90% of the content is crap and the rest is taken from foreign Elle magazines. Sorry. I'm just excited to read an article about the history of preppy style. I can't wait to be in the UK so that I could subscribe to Elle UK! *-*

Today's outfit is very pastel-heavy as I love pastels very much, they're my favourite colours (lilac, mint and pink especially), I'll be very sad when the spring season in the shops is over, very happy though when all the awesomeness goes on sale. :'D

Baby blue cut-out skirt - DIYed thrifted gift, beige belt - Primark, lace bodysuit - H&M, lilac bra - Lindex, sheer white shirt - wholesale-dress.net, pink suspenders - Lindex, beige overknees - Monki, pink Lolita heels - Bodyline, T.O.P badges - gift, lilac trench coat - New Yorker, cheetah furry collar - Angelic Pretty - gift, pink bow bracelet - H&M kids, bow ring - H&M kids, milk ring - gift, pony earrings - made by Tenshi, cheetah glasses - H&M men, violet candy bag - Primark, inverted cross unicorn necklace - Clotique
I'm actually starting to like the buttons on this trench coat even though I had originally planned to change them. They're just... odd and kinda cheetah-printed. :3
I DIYed this skirt yesterday, I had seen these cut-outs on Lookbook and I loved the effect! (It's the baby blue skirt I was talking about in my thrift haul video btw, Bára got it for me in a thrift store.) And how perfect is the unicorn-printed inverted cross necklace from Clotique? :3
Even T.O.P's hair is matching my outfit. :D
A milk ring for the milk lover I am! Tenshi made it for me a long time ago. I still love it.
Thanks Bára for the pictures!

  5. Great job matching the buttons with the fur! I love all the pastels together <3. Your cut is really interesting, I just feel it makes you look a bit older then the previous one. Or maybe it's the color. But on ht eother hand, looking like 22 or so is not a bad thing, right? :) I bought the new Elle too, haven't read much yet, but the glasses look hideous on me XD. And I'm getting sick of the articles whose message is "why Czech women look so horrible when anywhere else in the world they look perfect". I dunno where the journalists live, but in the cneter of Prague, I see so many beautifully dressed, trimmed women my neck hurts from all the looking. And I travel a LOT and I've never seen streets full of models anwhere else. I see people in jeans and skiing jackets all the time and the well-dressed ones are in the same numbers as here. Sorry I let it out here, I just feel so angry XD. I'm in a skirt and heels 24/7, so I guess I take it a bit personally. XD

    1. I'm not sure whether to be happy that I look older or not but I'm glad you like my outfit! ;3 :D
I find the sunglasses a bit weird too but I don't wear Ray-Ban-shaped glasses much anymore so that's probably the reason on my side. :/
Well I do think that Czech women dress horribly, not all of them of course, but a big part. In Prague it is definitely better than in other cities and towns in my opinion. But I don't really get the point of these articles either, I mean, shouldn't a fashion magazine try to change them? And instead of it, they give out advice like 'If you're not sure about styling, match it with jeans.' and the photoshoots they style themselves are just crap (for example the underwear as outerwear still looking like underwear thing). What I'm more sick of though is the amount of Czech celebrities there and people who don't even have any sense of style. I think Czech Elle's become a lifestyle magazine with nice pictures, no fashion relevance whatsoever. -_-

    1. I never buy it here because I don't want to spend the money on it, it's so expensive. >< But whenever I get to the UK, I'm always taking back their fashion magazines, they're so awesome!!

Pastels are wonderful and as you said there's never enough of them, that's one of the reasons why I love them, you can mix them all together and instead of a colour blocking or rainbow effect, it seems all soft and fairy-like. ^^
